Poser Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 22 September 2026

These Terms govern the Poser iOS party game, operated by Bridge Business Support Solutions LLC, with its registered address at 2389 Main St. STE 100, Glastonbury, CT 06033, United States. In these Terms, we, us and our refer to that company.

By using Poser, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information about players and people appearing in photos. Accepting these Terms does not by itself provide consent to be photographed or to any processing that requires separate consent.

1. Who can use Poser

You must be at least 13, or any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission to use Poser and appear in game photos. You must also freely agree yourself.

Do not use Poser if you are under the applicable minimum age. Do not photograph a child under 13 for the game or anyone below a higher minimum age that applies to their participation.

2. What Poser is

Poser is a party game for people in the same room, each using their own iPhone. One player creates a room and shares a code. Other players join that room. A Director sees a reference picture and directs a Performer to recreate its pose. The Director takes a photo, which is uploaded and shown to participants in that game room so they can react.

Poser needs an internet connection, and taking a photo requires camera access. A solo mode is also available. Game photos are intended to be temporary, but finishing a game or closing the app does not guarantee immediate deletion. The Privacy Policy explains the actual cleanup process and its limitations.

3. Your player identifier

You do not need to register with an email address or password. Poser uses Firebase anonymous authentication to create a player identifier and authentication record. The identifier distinguishes you from other players and is associated with your display name, emoji, room participation and game activity.

Anonymous sign-in does not mean that your photos or other game information cannot identify you. It also does not provide a conventional account-recovery service. Deleting the app does not automatically delete authentication records or game information held on our servers, and local authentication information may persist through device storage or restoration mechanisms. Contact info@bridgebss.com for privacy or deletion requests.

4. Taking photos of people

The person holding the camera must obtain a clear, voluntary agreement from every person who will appear in the photo before taking it. Camera permission on your phone only authorises access to that camera. It does not give permission on behalf of the Performer or anyone else.

Before capture, explain that Poser is operated by Bridge Business Support Solutions LLC, that the photo will be uploaded and stored using Google Firebase, and that participants in the game room will see it. Explain that participants can make copies, that cleanup is subject to the Privacy Policy, and that people can withdraw their agreement. Give everyone the opportunity to read the Privacy Policy and ask for a clear response, such as a spoken yes.

Joining a room, accepting these Terms, silence or being nearby does not establish consent to be photographed. Do not take or upload the photo if anyone refuses, has not understood or cannot freely agree. If someone enters the frame unexpectedly, leave them out or obtain their agreement before capture. For a participant under 18, obtain a parent or guardian’s permission and the participant’s own agreement.

Do not use Poser to take or upload:

  • Photos of anyone who has refused, is unaware of the camera or cannot freely agree.
  • Nude, sexual or exploitative images, including any sexual exploitation or abuse material involving children.
  • Photos intended to bully, humiliate, threaten or harass someone.
  • Photos that violate a reasonable expectation of privacy or a rule against photography, including in bathrooms or changing rooms.
  • Photos of documents, screens or other material containing someone else’s private information without the necessary permission.

Anyone can refuse or withdraw their agreement. Stop photographing them and stop displaying or sharing an affected photo when they ask. If it has already been uploaded, help them contact info@bridgebss.com and send a request on their behalf if asked. They can also contact us directly without having the app. Include the room code and approximate time if known; lacking those details does not prevent someone from making a request.

We will handle withdrawal and deletion requests as explained in the Privacy Policy. We do not require a person to wait for routine room cleanup before requesting removal. We cannot undo another person’s having seen an image or remotely delete copies held by participants.

Hosts must make sure people understand the game and can decline a photo without pressure. Agreement to appear in a game photo is limited to the explained game use. It does not authorise taking a screenshot, exporting, posting or otherwise sharing that image outside the game.

5. Ownership and permission to use content

Your photos. You retain whatever rights you hold in photos you submit. Rights belonging to someone else remain theirs. We do not claim ownership of your photographs.

By submitting a photo with the necessary rights and permissions, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to receive, store and display it to participants in the relevant room and to carry out the necessary technical processing to operate Poser. This permission lasts only as needed for those purposes, the deletion process described in the Privacy Policy and any applicable legal retention requirement. It does not override an individual’s privacy rights or withdrawal of consent.

We do not use game photos for marketing, advertising, promotion or AI training. Our service providers may process them on our behalf to operate Poser. Other disclosures are limited to the circumstances described in the Privacy Policy, including applicable legal requirements.

Reference images and app materials. Poser and its original software, design and branding belong to us or our licensors. Reference images may be owned by us or licensed from third parties. Third-party ownership, credits and licence terms remain applicable. You may use the content to play the game. Any further use requires permission from the rights holder or a right under the applicable licence or law. These Terms do not restrict rights granted directly to you under a third-party or open licence.

App licence. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use Poser on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s applicable usage rules, including any applicable Family Sharing, volume-purchase or Legacy Contact rights. No ownership is transferred.

6. Things you agree not to do

  • Break into, tamper with or disrupt Poser or its servers.
  • Access rooms without an invitation, guess room codes or disclose invitations to unintended participants.
  • Use bots or scripts to abuse the service, flood it with requests or evade restrictions.
  • Impersonate someone or use a display name to harass or deceive.
  • Use Poser unlawfully or infringe another person’s privacy, intellectual property or other rights.
  • Disable or bypass security or safety controls.
  • Copy, reverse engineer or decompile proprietary app software except where applicable law permits it.

7. Display names and reports

Choose a display name that does not impersonate, harass, threaten or expose private information about someone. Display names are visible to other people in the room.

Report abusive names, prohibited photos or other misuse to info@bridgebss.com. Include the room code, approximate time and a description if available. Do not send copies of suspected child sexual abuse material. We may investigate reports, remove content or restrict access where appropriate. A report does not guarantee that an individual or device can be identified.

8. Screenshots and sharing

Poser currently has no built-in feature for sharing or exporting game photos outside the app. Photos are displayed to participants in the relevant game room. This does not prevent participants from taking screenshots, photographing a screen or making other copies.

Before making, keeping or sharing a copy outside the normal game display, you must obtain separate, informed permission from every identifiable person in the image and respect any rights in the reference image. Agreement to be photographed for the game does not include permission to post on social media or share with people outside the room. If someone refuses, do not make or share the copy. If they withdraw permission, stop further sharing and delete copies under your control unless you have a lawful reason to retain them.

We cannot guarantee that participants will follow these rules or remove copies from devices or services we do not control. Deletion from Poser does not delete those copies. You can report misuse to info@bridgebss.com.

If we introduce built-in sharing, we will explain how it works, update the Terms and Privacy Policy as needed, and obtain any required permissions before the new use begins.

9. Paid content

Poser is currently free. If we introduce paid content, we will explain the price and what you are buying before purchase. App Store purchases are subject to Apple’s applicable payment and refund procedures. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights or any obligations we have under applicable law.

10. Availability and safe play

We aim to keep Poser working, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The game depends on devices, internet connections and third-party infrastructure. We may carry out maintenance, change features or content, or discontinue the service. Where required by law, we will give notice and provide any applicable remedy.

Play in a safe space. Do not attempt a pose or follow an instruction that could injure you or someone else. You can decline any pose or photograph.

To the extent permitted by law, Poser is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from defects. Any consumer guarantees or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded remain in force.

11. Responsibility and limits

We remain responsible for our own acts and omissions where the law makes us responsible. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by another player’s unauthorised conduct, your misuse of the app, or failures of devices or connections outside our reasonable control. These provisions do not remove our responsibility for our own handling of personal information or our failure to meet applicable legal duties.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or loss of profits, business or anticipated savings. Where a financial cap is legally permitted, our total liability arising from Poser or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for Poser in the preceding twelve months, or US$50 if you paid nothing. Mandatory consumer and data protection rights remain unaffected.

Poser is not permanent photo storage. Keep no expectation that game photos or records will be recoverable after deletion. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no internet service can be completely secure.

12. Suspension and ending use

We may restrict or suspend access or remove content where reasonably necessary because of a material breach, unlawful conduct, a security risk or a legal obligation. Serious cases include harassment, non-consensual photography and prohibited sexual or exploitative content involving children. We may act without advance notice where necessary and report suspected unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities.

You can stop using Poser at any time. Uninstalling ends use on that installation but does not itself delete server records. The Privacy Policy explains deletion requests, retention and any surviving legal obligations.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or applicable law changes. We will update the date above and give notice of material changes where required. New terms apply prospectively from their stated effective date. Where acceptance or fresh consent is required by law, continued use alone will not replace it. If you do not accept an applicable change, you can stop using Poser.

14. Governing law and other legal terms

Governing law and courts. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Subject to those protections, disputes may be brought in the competent state or federal courts in New York, New York. You retain any mandatory right to bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence. Please contact info@bridgebss.com first if you would like us to try to resolve a concern informally; this does not prevent you from exercising legal rights.

Apple and support. These Terms are between you and Bridge Business Support Solutions LLC. We are responsible for Poser and its content and for maintenance and support required by these Terms or applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.

Apple warranty and claims provisions. We are responsible for applicable warranties to the extent they have not been lawfully excluded. If Poser fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund any purchase price paid for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no further warranty obligation, and we are responsible for other related claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses. We, rather than Apple, are responsible for addressing claims relating to Poser, including product-liability claims, non-compliance with legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer or privacy claims. If a third party claims that Poser or your authorised use infringes its intellectual property rights, we are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging the claim as required by law.

Apple usage rules and third parties. Your use must comply with applicable third-party agreements and Apple’s usage rules. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated by that government as a terrorist-supporting country, and are not on a United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Severability. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy set out our agreement about Poser. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is processed; acknowledging it does not supply consent for activities that require separate permission. Nothing here restricts mandatory legal rights.
